The Reflection - My Life's "Logic Gate"

Finally, a serious entry after so long...

I was tossing and turning in bed as usual last night, my brain just couldn't rest at the right timing. This is the worst time to be having insomnia... but for once, I took the time I was awake trying to "think" properly.... shall note down the point so that Jiahe can refer to in his lifetime here on Earth...

1) Every body has limited energy, it's just that maybe some have more, some have less.
Conclusion: Allocate energy properly. (Use it wisely, Save the Earth, Save the Universe)
Guess I won't be a astronaut, so the points should still apply :P

2) When you need to concentrate on certain things, the mind is not built in such a that it can handle simultaneous "attention seeking" stuff. For example, if school work is your priority, you should not do anything that may "interest" the mind more than whatever priority that is listed on top. If the lower ones "interests" your mind more than the one of top... you have no choice but to completely remove it. But if the next priority is as important as the one on top of it, you just have to go back to Point 1 to determine how much energy is available to "best fit" the situation.

Points to self: There a difference between work(priority) and entertainment(distraction). If music appears to "wake you up", that's good. But for me, I woke up so much that I listen to the music more. This overwrites my "priority", so it will go under my "entertainment" list instead of being used to boost my study concentration. The priorities under "entertainment"
shall automatically be placed below "work", depending on the deadline of work. You decide the date when the two must be split clearly into 2. Note that there's a difference between "putting in hard work" and "seriously putting in hard work". You have to have got interest in whatever in you are doing to achieve the best results!

Conclusion: I shall not be turning on my laptop and appear "busy" on MSN... and also the bad guy to provide a channel for those having exams to "destress".... who knows if you are having dinner halfway and you choke on the stupid bird story...... Realised that it is indirectly and unknowingly reducing my "interest" off my proper work preparation, and also gave "distractions" to those who have a urge for some "entertainment" in NTU as well.

Blogging is not good at a time like this... even if it only take a while to do so, it's actually let the mind "look forward" to it.

Realised that little Jiahe has been working hard and playing hard aimlessly as well.... Tried to apply the saying "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". Shall now add on and improve on it for myself.

Jiahe added this: At certain critical times, "All work and no play makes Jiahe....... into what Jiahe truly wants to become".

After I came in here.. Jiahe just gets further and further away from Jiahe.... until now, it seems so clear that Jiahe is going in the wrong direction. Finally, Jiahe understood him....
(anyway, it's ok if you don't understand whatever crap that appears here. It's the Jiahe language... you may need a encoder :P)

So boys and girls, let's 加油 for whatever we are doing, and for friends in NTU, let's "consciously" concentrate on our exams.

Won't be "expecting" any posts till this end of 24/4/08.
Check back until then :)

Jiahe is back... for good :)
