Fathers' Day and Dumpling Festival Celebration
For just $5, they are given dumplings, performances, competitions, lunch, lucky draws.....
The Competition for smartest Dad and their Kids
The kids still can't accept the fact about how smart their Dad is.......
even though Dad keep insisting that they were picked up from the rubbish bin after all these years, and they simply look so lame saying that at their age......
And this little girl wonder....
haha!
Ah Gong 没有童年 mah :P
So after that day, you know how smart is their dad compared to other dads.
(The other 4 dads will be so sian.... What a "Happy" Fathers' day)
Then it's the 1000 piece Jigsaw Puzzle competition.
Only 1 group manage to finish it, I think in less than an hour!
The rest of the groups were asked to "take the puzzle home as souvenirs".
What a nice way to say -_-"
Then there's the performances. The first one was by a group of "happy age" group.
乐龄组。(Happy Age Group. What a way to put it :P)
Then it's the wushu performance.
The kids were quite young, but their moves were more than superb!
Wow! Uncle Lim here can only watch. Can't even stretch and reach my toes yet... from all my NTU wushu trainings after 1 year. (haha, no time to go for most trainings -_-)
These are the dumplings for the estimated 200+ tickets sold.
Check out the food.....woo!
The whole crowd.
And see how "happy" they were.
Amazingly.... The food cleared faster than superman comb his hair.

............... No link -_-"
Anyway, this is my scan function. Of course I must put something here that I can remember :P
This my group of consultants as my support :)
And this is the S2 scanner I was talking about last time.
Mai siao siao! This Nobel Prize winning Raman Spectroscopy Technology, R&D alone cost US$70 million! And that cute white "juice maker-like" scanner cost US$12,000!!
Play spoil I can 脱裤跑。。。
(actually, they have warranty for it lah :P)
Didn't know that our MP will also be there. So we scanned him as well :)
And this is the very friendly neighbourhood.... Dr Lam.
He says he drinks a lot of carrot juice. And he is ever so happy!
And after 3 minutes, his antioxidant results is out.
And he PASSED!
I think he is the only one who passed that day!! A score of 52,000! (50,000 is the passing)
(But take note: Drinking too much carrot juice will turn you "yellow". Literally. So don't "overdose"!)
Then we took a photo with the MP's "flying colours"
And I got my new spectacles on 12/6/08, Thursday after 5 years. Wore it for my first event. Haha! Looked more like a consultant :P
(ha, buay smart act smart -_-")
But I must really thank Chee Wee, my JC friend who is already a senior consultant over there. He really helped me a lot with the whole event (since it's my first event)
Anyway, live's just starting to get busy already. With 3 camps in plan. NUS PAYC, CAC FOC and Hall FOC.... and with the seniors' camp.....
It's going to be 6 camps in TOTAL!!?
Freshman going to become a staleman after these......
Stress sia~
haha!

Ok, and a health tip to end.
Do you know that to have a good night sleep, you can actually "prepare" for it?
Interesting right :)
To have a good night sleep, you should actually get your body "prepared" to go to sleep.
For the first hour before you sleep, let the body relax first. Some ways to let the body go into the relax state.
1) Listen to some light music.
2) Read a story book which do not require much thinking or something that will "interest" the mind to stay awake. (You won't want to dream of it, unless you want loh... haha!)
3) Aroma therapy - Lavender Essence or put on Johnson Baby Powder. You will sleep like a baby.
4) For ORD personnel, can use Lavender flavoured Snake Powder ahhHa!! Brings back memories :P
The Do Not Do list just before you sleep.
1) Do not sleep on a FULL stomach
2) You can't sleep on a empty stomach
3) Do not exercise just before you sleep.
4) Think too much.
5) Read this blog and laugh at Jiahe too much. Will not have good karma and you might dream of me also.
(then later you blame me for disturbing you for the whole night)
If you have too much things on your mind, you most probably would not be able to fall asleep as well. So what you can do is.
1) Write out a list of things that you will need to do, for the next day or any other day.
When you assure your mind that you have nothing to worry about, you can fall asleep more easily, and the chances of getting bad dreams will be less.
There are several ways you can try to fall asleep.
1) Make your brain bored - count sheeps (I counted turtles, still couldn't get this method to work.... )
2) Make your brain bored - Jiahe's version (count from 1 to 10, repeat again and again. When your brain starts to get confuse and miscount..... you are "there" liao)
3) Yoga style - Concentrate on your breathing, slowly and deeply, breath in and out. (I think your mind will get bored soon and start to fall asleep)
*4) Only applicable to Singaporean Engineering students - Open up any of your lecture notes and the effect is easily 1000 X more effective than any previous 3 methods.... (especially NTU notes)
LOL~!
Okay now.....
Have fun falling asleep :)
Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a.... little dream of me......
(don't get nightmares. haha!)
